The volumes

Volume names in English are taken from each volume's own introduction chapter rather than invented; in Arabic they are the short labels the authority itself uses, which is the one place here that rests on a listing rather than a document. Chapter titles are printed as the documents' own English first pages print them, in both editions. Where a volume covers a discipline this publication has nothing useful to say about, it is indexed and marked out of scope, because leaving a volume out would make the catalogue incomplete.

How this was built

Every field was extracted from the first page of each document rather than inferred from a filename. Filenames in circulation have been renamed, truncated and in a few cases invented by whatever downloaded them, and a catalogue built on them would carry wrong document numbers.

Documents without a volume and chapter header are excluded. Those are deliverable lists, standard drawings and annexes rather than numbered chapters, so their absence is correct rather than a gap. Anything not marked external by the issuer is dropped by the extractor before it reaches this page.
